Today was a great day at the Rocks. The seas were calm.

Here is Dennis Evans with a nice Yellowtail caught on a yo yo jig.

This is a whopper 52 pound Yellowtail caught at San Clemente Island.

Brandon Hatfield scored this nice Yellowtail at the Point Loma Kelp Beds to win the Jackpot.

We searched far and wide today for kelp paddies holding Yellowtail. At times it was very difficult. We finally found one holding and Angler Mike Plossel scored this nice Yellowtail.

We started trolling we the sun came up. It wasn't long before we found some hungry Yellowtail. Here is angler Scott Owens from Santa Barbara, CA with a nice Yellowtail. For the most part the Yellowtail were small. We ended up releasing many of the fish we caught on the first stop. Scott was lucky to catch a keeper.

Angler Kitt Halverson from Hawaii caught this nice Yellowtail on the troll. Thanks for joining us on this trip Kitt it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope to fish with you and the Baja Boys again in the future.

Angler Scott Schell from Santa Barbara got in on the Yellowtail action. Here he is with a nice keeper. We found alot of Yellows but most of them we released.
