Scratchy fishing going on right now but Captain Brian Sims made a trip out of it with some yellows at the Lupe' and offshore for some albacore and yellowfin tuna.

Captain Shawn Steward was out for a 5 day and caught some albacore, yellowfin tuna, yellowtail 1st Norm Sogioka 42.07lbs. 2nd Tom White 39.06lbs 3rd Randy Polk 39.04lbs.

Captain Mike Lackey had a 4 day trip and fished one day at Guadelupe Island and offshore for Yellowtail, Yellowfin Tuna, and Albacore. 1st is Craig Boccardo 41.06lbs. 2nd is Mike Boido 39.01lbs. 3rd is Roger Henne 38.04lbs.

We had a VERY light load on our Seahawk SFR charter, which made for TONS of elbow room. We left the harbor after getting some nice sardines and headed over to Catalina to try for some yellows and white seabass. When we arrived we anchored up and attempted to make some squid. We only managed to snag 4 pieces--and I got 2 of 'em. At gray light, we got up and started fishing. I pinned on one of the squids to my dropper loop, and sent it down. After a brief soak I got picked up and landed this nice yellowtail.

Cedros, Guadelupe, and offshore paddy hoppin' is where Captain Shawn Steward on a 5 day fished. 1st Bruce Moore 42.02lbs. 2nd Rob Zanas 33.0lbs. 3rd Bill Williamson 29.05lbs.
