It
was
a
little
bumpy
on
the
way
out
to
the
island
but
we
all
managed.
We started fishing in the dark, and John was the first one to land a yellow.

little
luck.
We

SFR would like to thank the crew of the Limitless for a really fun trip to San Clemente Island. These guys really worked hard for us! for 6 anglers we caught 5 yellowtail, and 30 calico bass.

All
of
us
were
excited
about
our
trip
on
the
Ultra.
The
yellows
had
been
biting
out
at
San
Clemente
Island
and
we
wanted
to
get
in
on
the
action.
We
left
the
dock
early,
got
some
fin
bait
at
the
barge,
then
headed
over
to
Catalina
to
make
squid.
It
took
the
crew
about
1
hour
to
fill
one
of
the
bait
tanks
with
squid,
then
we
headed
over
to
San
Clemente.
We
arrived
at
Clemente
around
4:30am,
and
we
woke
to
2nd
Ticket
Doug
telling
us
to
get
out
of
our
bunks
and
get
a
line
in
the
water!
LOTS
of
seabass
under
the
boat!
We
had
a
short
flurry
of
seabass,
then
the
yellows
moved
in!
Here is angler Jim Grant hooked into an early morning yellow.
