We fished a couple spots for little luck. We then moved to Mosquito Cove where Jody hooked into a yellow.

Jody was a fish slayer today! She landed 2 yellows, and TONS of calicos! Way to go Jody!!!

SFR would like to thank the crew of the Limitless for a really fun trip to San Clemente Island. These guys really worked hard for us! for 6 anglers we caught 5 yellowtail, and 30 calico bass.

All of us were excited about our trip on the Ultra. The yellows had been biting out at San Clemente Island and we wanted to get in on the action. We left the dock early, got some fin bait at the barge, then headed over to Catalina to make squid. It took the crew about 1 hour to fill one of the bait tanks with squid, then we headed over to San Clemente. We arrived at Clemente around 4:30am, and we woke to 2nd Ticket Doug telling us to get out of our bunks and get a line in the water! LOTS of seabass under the boat! We had a short flurry of seabass, then the yellows moved in!

Randy hooked into a yellow. Randy commented that he hadn't been deep sea fishing since the 70's! He sure picked the right trip to end is drought!

Everybody was hooking up! It was awesome!

Dennis had been out on the ocean a few times but had never experienced a GOOD trip. Well, he sure made up for it today! Dennis caught SEVEN yellowtail! Not too shabby!
