We moved on a began the search again. We could count on Joe to get the bite going again and get it going he did. This guy was on fire. Joe was the hot stick most of the day and by the time he cooled off a whole bunch of quality fish had his number stapled to them. Go Joe Go !!!!

Deckhand Chris "The GaffMaster" Reed with a nice yellowtail he free gaffed as it swam near a hooked yellow. Man that guy is quick with the gaff. Now that was cool !!! Chris and the rest of the deckhands were some of the hardest working and most knowledgeable and helpful deckhands I've ever seen. These guys really know what they are doing. Great job guys !!!!!!!

Winnie Houston of Buena Park won first place with a 28lb yellowtail. Rick Zavits of Yucca Valley won second place with a 26.8-pound yellowtail. John McAvoy of Jackson, WY took third place. Glenn Brossus of Long Beach, caught an 18.8-pound dorado.
