Oh what a pretty site!! My favorite sound in fishing!!! You should have seen that reel screaming and smoking as this big yellow put out numerous blistering runs.

I can guarantee you one thing. That is not a calico bass bending Eric's rod like that. Not many fish in our ocean pull any harder than these San Clemente yellows and Eric can tell you from first hand experience.

We had a great trip with a great bunch of anglers and we put some really nice yellows on the board. Nice try Vince but you're not fooling anyone. You're yellow was still the smallest no matter how heavy who try to make it.

Captain Tom Lee not only runs the show on deck but he is a fillet master as well. Tom and the rest of the crew will fillet up you're catch and have it back in the refridgerated fish hold fast to insure its in perfect shape at the end of the trip.

Sandy Fishell of El Centro won first place, for a 31.9-pound yellowtail. Seeker???s Randy Penny won second place, for a 28.6-pound yellow. Dick Parker of El Segundo was third, for a 27.6-pound yellowtail.
